Millersville University was in need of a single firm to supply services for various campus projects to enhance campus amenities and create safe, inviting spaces for the school’s students, faculty, and visitors.

Under an open-end contract, RETTEW performed various services including:

Pucillo Drive: Provided the redesign and relocation of parking areas, sidewalks, and an existing roadway to eliminate blind turns, increase roadway width, and align with existing borough streets to improve vehicular access, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, and pedestrian safety.

Stayer Tennis Courts: Reconstructed the unused court area into a parking area to serve Stayer Hall and the future performing arts building. The project included a road, sidewalks, ADA ramps and parking facilities, stormwater best management practices, lighting, fencing, and landscaping.

Perimeter Drive, Biemesderfer Stadium, Pucillo Softball Field Pressbox, the new baseball stadium, and Cottage Avenue Parking Garage: Provided geotechnical and foundation services, analysis of soil and rock samples, and recommendations for foundation design.

Central campus area: Performed a 24-acre topographic survey.

RETTEW worked with the University throughout a ten-year period on these and other enhancement projects.
