ON THE ROAD SAFETY – 6.5 DEP CONTACT HOURS

Part 3 of the Summer Safety Spotlight Series

AMERICAN SAFETY AND HEALTH INSTITUTE (ASHI) FIRST AID, CPR, AND AED USE TRAINING

This approximately four-hour course shall cover the response for basic injuries and illnesses that may occur in the workplace or on the job- site. Hands-on activities shall include basic first aid skills, CPR, and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) use.

PENNDOT FLAGGER AND TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL SAFETY TRAINING

Provision of PennDOT Flagger training in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 213 and with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard 29 CFR 1910.146. Each session is approximately two and a half hours in duration. Proof of training cards will be provided for each student upon the successful completion of the course and is valid for three years.

Session fee includes both trainings and a light breakfast, snacks, refreshments, and a boxed lunch.
