York County Planning Commission

This program provides grant funding in three categories: Land Acquisition, Planning and Ordinance Assistance, and Marcellus Shale Legacy Fund. Details on the mid-August virtual grant workshop, grant guidelines, and grant FAQs, are available on the York Open Spaces website.

Eligible Entities: Any municipality in York County, PA; charitable nonprofit organizations with 501(c) status with a natural resource protection, land preservation, parks/recreation, or conservation focus; York County Parks Department; school districts (Marcellus Shale Funding only); and other County agencies (Marcellus Shale Funding only)
